Great Expectations is very desperate for members. I signed with them Feb. 28, 2006. The very next day I changed my mind and wanted to cancel. I had not done a video yet, or a profile. I had not taken advantage of any of the services and still haven’t They will not let me cancel. Why would they want someone who does not want to be a member. I called several times over the days following my initial contract voicing my desire to cancel. I asked them what was necessary. Everyone lead me on a wild goose chase until the 4 day, when my 3 day cancellation option had expired. They the president of the office told me it was too late and there was nothing I could do. Legally they may be right, I should have read my contract and figured it out on my own, but ethically someone should have informed me when I asked. I asked several times and all they did was tell me I needed to talk to my sales person, then my sales person told me I needed to to talk to Ed Allen, the president of the Schuamburg office. He didn’t accept my phone call until it was too late. My sales person know longer works there, what a surprise. I am very angry at this service. If I am forced to do a profile and video, I will do nothing but bash this company. And if I attend any of the events it will be for the purpose of bashing this company. They are unethical and desperate.
